What does your YouTube Community section look like? Do you post regularly or do you only share a new video there occasionally? If you don't devote much time to creating community posts, it's time to change that. By regularly creating posts, you can increase your reach on YouTube and create a more intimate and strong relationship with your community. And that's what YouTube is all about. We've prepared 7 specific tips for you on the content that you can create on YouTube in the Community section.
WHAT IS YOUTUBE COMMUNITY?
The Community section is a space where creators can communicate with viewers outside of classic videos. Posts can contain polls, GIFs, text, images or videos. Such content helps you stay in touch with your audience. Posts appear on the Community tab, in the Home or Subscriptions channel. However, In order to create content in the Community section, you as a creator need to have at least 1,000 subscribers.
1. INFORM THE COMMUNITY ABOUT CHANNEL NEWS
Do you have some great news or just a regular announcement for your subscribers? Let them know with a Community post. Whether you’re launching a revamped new video series or going on vacation and taking a break from releasing videos for a few days, let your audience know. The Community section is a great place to make important announcements about what’s going on on your channel, as well as in your life that you share with your fans. By regularly engaging with your subscribers, you’re building a strong community, which is the foundation of a successful YouTube channel.

2. CREATE SURVEYS
Use the interactive features in the community section. Do you need feedback from your audience or just want to ask your subscribers something? Use a survey and increase the engagement of your community. Ask them what series or video they liked the most, or what guest they would welcome in the next video. This way, you involve fans directly in the creation of the video and create a more intimate relationship with them.

3. SHARE BEHIND-THE-SCENES
Just like the content itself, the audience is also interested in the process of its creation. Did everything go smoothly? Were there any unsuccessful shots or did something unexpected happen? Don't be afraid to share the whole story behind the creation of your videos, your viewers will appreciate it. However, it doesn't have to be just behind-the-scenes events, share a piece of your personal life with your fans. Create a holiday greeting, share a fail or experience.

4. CHAT WITH THE COMMUNITY ON A CURRENT TOPIC
Whether it's an interesting Apple event or crazy weather, ask your viewers for their opinion or experience. However, if you ask a question, don't forget to respond to the answers. If you repeatedly ask viewers questions but don't join the discussion yourself, your community engagement will decrease because your fans won't see any interest in interacting. So whenever you post in the community section, don't forget to take the time to reply to comments.

5. HAVE FUN
Who doesn't like fun and good memes? Surprise your community with a funny gif or meme from time to time. You can easily connect it to your content, but don't be afraid to share a funny meme that amused you. It doesn't always have to be about promoting your channel, sometimes it's nice to slow down and laugh, your fans will appreciate it.

6. SUPPORT CREATORS
If you created a video in collaboration with another creator, don't forget to let your viewers know about it. But it doesn't always have to be about sharing a joint video. If you liked another creator’s video, mention it in your post in the community. By supporting each other and creating authentic friendships between creators, you can have fun, move forward, and bring valuable content to your viewers. It’s simply a win-win situation.

7. SHARE A NEW VIDEO
The last but not least content tip is to share your own videos. Notify your viewers that a new video has landed on the channel and don’t forget to add a little idea. If you just share a video link with the text “New video,” it’s likely that very few people will be interested in such a post. Instead, create a gif or photo of a funny situation in the video and add an interesting description to it that will pique the viewer’s curiosity. For better reach and algorithm support, we recommend placing the link to the video in the description of the post or in the first comment instead of inserting it into the default feature. But more importantly, highlight the video in an interesting way.

Working with the community is very important on YouTube, after all, your channel can only be successful if you create a permanent audience that supports you. And regularly contributing and communicating with subscribers through the YouTube community section is a great way to build a trusting relationship with your fans.
