YouTube is rolling out a new feature that could change the way people watch videos. The new feature called YouTube Premieres addresses the situation when creators want to engage more with the audience and build a solid community, but don't want to stream. The needs of the creators were listened to and a new function was created, which is something between a live stream and a classic video.
HOW DO YOUTUBE PREMIERES WORK?
Thanks to the new tool, you can watch your premiere video live together with the audience. It works basically the same as when you go to the cinema with a group of friends to see a new movie. Except that with a YouTube premiere, the movie is your video, your crew is your followers, and the movie theater is YouTube. So how to create a premiere in "online cinema"? The whole process looks like this.
You shoot a video and plan the premiere date for Sunday, for example. Once scheduled, a public video preview page is created to promote and share the video. On the same page, in our case, the premiere of the video will start on Sunday. Before the launch of the premiere, but also during it, the creator can communicate with subscribers via live chat, maintain their curiosity and increase the number of potential viewers.
Among our partners, FiFqo tried the new tool and gave us a quick review: “I tried YouTube premieres for the first time on a video MEME WAR and it was great. At first, people were a little confused about what was going on, but it's a great thing to watch a video together and chat in the live chat. It's a completely different experience.“
The new feature becomes interesting also because it becomes another option, how you earn money on YouTube. si The feature is currently being made available to a small group of authors and will be available to the wider public soon.
Premieres on YouTube bring several advantages, from which both creators and viewers benefit. If you are interested in our article and are thinking about setting up a new tool, you can find all the steps in the detailed guide from YouTube .
